AtomQT workshop on “Terrestrial infrasound gravitational wave detection with atom interferometry”
Leibniz University Hannover – February 25th – 27th 2019
Nobel-prize awarded light interferometry, operating at acoustic frequencies above 10 Hz, inaugurated gravitational wave astronomy. In this workshop, promises and challenges of terrestrial atom-light interferometers for extending observations in the infrasound domain between 0.1 – 1 Hz will be discussed and interactions between the two communities sought after.
