ITC Conference grants

ITC Conference Grants are aimed at supporting PhD students and early career investigators (up to 8 years post PhD) from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs)* to attend international science and technology related conferences on the topic of the Action that are not organised by the COST Action.

The applicant must make an oral/poster presentation at the conference and must be listed in the official conference programme. The main subject of the presentation at the conference must be on the topic of the Action and must acknowledge COST. Attendance at European conferences is preferred, however, conferences held elsewhere can also be considered.

Conference grants do not necessarily cover all of the expenses related to participating in a given conference. Each grand can be up to 2500 €, where maximum of 160 € per day can be afforded for accommodation and meal expenses and maximum of 500 € can be claimed for the conference fees.
Please, include in the application a detailed and realistic break-down of the costs that you expect to occur. The grantee has 30 days from the end of the conference to submit a scientific report.
